§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonDornoch Academy, Sutherland, was established on 1 April 1994 as Scotland's first self-governing school. For the financial year to 31204W March 1995, it has budgets of £399,181 for recurrent revenue expenditure and £16,000 for capital expenditure. The recurrent expenditure budget amount may be adjusted shortly to reflect the level of comparable expenditure by the Education Department of Highland regional council and any changes in the circumstances of the school which would have an effect on the determination of its annual grant, such as a fluctuation in pupil numbers during the financial year.
