asked Her Majesty's Government:

For which counties the Local Government Commission for England has been instructed to conduct a further review and in which of them the Commission's consultation process is to include the distribution of an explanatory leaflet to each household.

The Local Government Commission has been directed to conduct second reviews of Derbyshire, Durham and Gloucestershire and has published its draft recommendations for these counties. The Commission has distributed a publicity leaflet on local government structure to each household in Derbyshire.
