To ask the Secretary of State for Education if she will publish a table showing the number of students in each local education authority in England undertaking courses of further education(a) aged 16 to 18 years and (b) 19 years and over; and what proportion of each of these age groups was not in receipt of any discretionary award.

The number of students in each LEA in England who are undertaking further education(a) aged 16 to 18 years and (b) 19 years and over and the estimated proportion of each of these age groups who do not receive an award under section 2 of the Education Act 1962, are shown in the following table.
