To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list those countries for which his Department provides specialist dog handler training.

Mr. Soames

During the financial year 1993–94 a total of 10 foreign and Commonwealth students attended the defence animal centre at Melton Mowbray for specialist dog handler training from the following countries:

  • USA: 7 students
  • Hong Kong: 2 students
  • Guernsey Customs and Excise: 1 student
