§ Mr. ElletsonTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has to use the United Kingdom's membership of the conference on security and co-operation in Europe to encourage the Minsk group to assume the leading role in seeking a resolution of the conflict which respects the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe continue to support the CSCE's plans to convene a conference in Minsk to achieve a political settlement of the dispute. We keep in close contact with the Swedish chairman of the Minsk group and have offered a Russian-speaking British diplomat to assist his team.
