§ Mr. RedwoodThis information is not held centrally, though a recent review of performance indicates that patients in Wales can generally expect to wait between 25 minutes and four hours for a bed following assessment or treatment in a casualty department.
105WI want the NHS in Wales to do better than this and in the summer I will announce a new patients charter standard covering performance in this area. Performance against this standard will be monitored quarterly.
