§ Mr. HanleyMy Department has requested that oil and gas exploration in a small number of MOD ranges and exercise areas in the Irish sea be delayed until 1996–97 to enable defence activities to be rescheduled. It is too early to say what impact any subsequent exploitation activities may have on defence installations in Wales.
