Whether they intend to remove the signs "Department of Transport—A339 Basingstoke— Newbury Trunk Road—Basingstoke Northern Bypass Stage 3—Opening Spring 1993" placed at either end of this new road, and when the new road opened.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Transport (Lord Mackay of Ardbrecknish)The new carriageways for the A339 Basingstoke Northern Bypass Stage 3 were opened to traffic on 15 April 1993. The department's signs at either end of the scheme have now been removed.
