To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the leasing of Tornado F3 aircraft to Italy.

We are discussing with the Italian MOD detailed arrangements for the lease of 26 RAF Tornado F3 aircraft to the Italian air force. I hope to be able to make an announcement shortly.
