§ Mr. CousinsTo ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will ensure that all companies and enterprises involved in Government contracts as a result of market testing or outsourcing programmes will observe the requirements of FRED 8, the Accounting Standards Board exposure draft on related party disclosure.
§ Mr. Neil HamiltonThe Accounting Standards Board is currently seeking comments on FRED 8 and may amend 201W the draft in the light of those comments. When it becomes a standard all companies and enterprises within its scope will have to comply with it.
