To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many poultry birds were slaughtered in each year since 1988 in Wales.

Information on poultry birds slaughtered in Great Britain because of salmonella infection has been collected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food since 1989. Figures for Wales are given in the table.
