asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have any information regarding the establishment of manufacturing or service industries in the European Union, and, in particular, (a) how many British companies are opening or intending to open factories or distribution centres on the northern coast of France, and (b) how many Continental companies are opening or intending to open factories or distribution centres in the south-east of Britain.

I regret I am unable to provide an answer to the question. There is no central register of companies establishing manufacturing or service operations in the European Union or in parts of individual member states.
