§ Mr. HowardI am responsible for the following public appointments which are not identified in "Public Bodies 1993":
- The Firearm Consultative Committee
- National Board for Crime Prevention
- Civil Emergencies Adviser
- Panel of advisers on deportations made at my personal direction under section 3(5) (b) of the Immigration Act 1971. Persons appointed under schedule 2 to the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989 to advise me in relation to representations against exclusion orders made under the Act.
- Person appointed to review the operation of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989.
- Criminal Law Revision Committee.
