To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what initiatives she has taken to promote British bacon.

The Meat and Livestock Commission has prime responsibility for promotion of British bacon, but the Ministry also plays a part through its pig assurance scheme which provides the farm assurance element of the British charter quality bacon scheme.
