To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department if he will make a statement on the work of the Law Commission in relation to medical ethics.

The Law Commission is reviewing the law and procedures relating to decision making on behalf of mentally incapacitated adults, which involves consideration of ethical questions in relation to medical treatment and research.
