§ Mr. David ShawTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on when the public consultation period will begin on the proposals to dual the A2 road between Lydden and Dover; and by which date he will publish those proposals.
§ Mr. KeyInvestigation of options for the A2 Lydden —B2060—to Dover improvement is continuing and the present programme is for public consultation later this year. The scheme is included in the current review of the road programme and I will make a further announcement about the outcome of the review as soon as possible.
