To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received about the positioning of an international station at Ebbsfleet, Kent; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Transport and I have received representations from the promoter of the station at Ebbsfleet, from the "Kent Thames-side" Group, from Kent County Council and from a number of other organisations, individuals and hon. Members. We are considering those representations, together with Union Railways' October report, and will announce our decisions shortly.
