§ Mr. McAllion
To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what were the levels of unemployment in(a) Dundee, (b) Scotland and (c) the United Kingdom in each year since 1979.

§ Miss Widdecombe
Seasonally adjusted claimant unemployment figures are available nationally from January 1971 and regionally from April 1974. For travel-to-work areas, only unadjusted unemployment figures are available and these go back to June 1983.
