§ Mr. FreemanFurther to my reply of 25 November, there is no comparison between the circumstances of the appointment of consultants to the Wessex Regional health authority and Sir Christopher Foster's role as adviser to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State. As my earlier answer made clear, the need to avoid potential conflicts of interest was covered in Sir Christopher's terms of appointment.
