§ Mr. HanleyThe Ministry of Defence gives a high priority to the conservation of the land in its ownership and is co-operating with the statutory bodies concerned with the implementation of European Union directive 92/43 EEC (Habitats and Species Directive). In particular, management plans are being created to integrate the protection of flora and fauna with the primary military use.
