§ Mr. SainsburyA number of United Kingdom bus manufacturers have been involved, in London and Tyneside, in demonstration projects, which are supported by the Department of Transport, to evaluate the benefits of low floor buses.
The result of these studies will be widely disseminated and United Kingdom bus producers are well placed to take advantage of any subsequent increase in demand for such vehicles.
