§ Mr. Eggar[pursuant to his reply, 2 December 1993, c. 739–41]: On arrangements for British Coal pensions after privatisation, I am today placing copies of drafts of the Mineworkers' Pension Scheme (Modification) Regulations, British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme (Modification) Regulations, Industry-Wide Mineworkers' Pension Scheme Regulations, Industry-Wide Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme Regulations and Coal Industry (Protected Persons) Regulations in the Libraries of both Houses, together with copies of drafts of the modified MPS and BCSSS schemes, rules and guarantee deeds and drafts of industry-wide MPS and SSS trust deeds and rules.
These are working drafts which are under discussion with the trustees of the MPS and BCSSS and with British Coal. Copies are being made available to the Standing Committee of the House that is considering the Coal Industry Bill.
