§ Mr. BowisOur guidance circular "Alcohol and Drug Services within Community Care" (LAC(93)2), which was sent to local authorities and health authorities in January 1993, makes it clear that health authorities continue to be responsible for the funding of the health care element of alcohol and drug services, this would include detoxification facilities.
