HL Deb 14 February 1994 vol 552 c1WA
Lord Kennet

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, as reported in The Times of 1 February, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary intend during their forthcoming visit to Russia to "review with Mr. Yeltsin the Russian Government's commitment to reform and the implications of the recent Cabinet reshuffle"; and whether they can say when a Russian head of government last "reviewed" British policy with a British government.

The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Chalker of Wallasey)

During their visit my right honourable friends the Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary expect to discuss the post-electoral situation in Russia, with President Yeltsin, Prime Minister Chernomyrdin, other members of the Russian Government and a broad range of politicians.
