To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what response she has given to the letter from the president of the Nuclear Control Institute in regard to the economic viability of reprocessing at THORP; and when he received this letter.

§ Mr. Jack
The Ministry received a letter from the Nuclear Control Institute dated 28 January. This appears to raise issues which fall outside the areas for which this Department is responsible. I shall be replying in due course.
