§ Mr. NeedhamInformation on United Kingdom defence exports can be found in table 1.11 of UK Defence 309W Statistics 1993 edition, a copy of which is available in the Library of the House. For 1992, United Kingdom exports of identified defence equipment amounted to £1,506 million, representing 1.4 per cent. of total visible exports. Comparable figures for Japan are not available and could be produced only at disproportionate cost.
