To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what proportion of written inquiries and customer complaints to Her Majesty's Customs and Excise were replied to within 10 working days.

The latest available figures show that 90 per cent. of all written inquiries and 65 per cent. of all customer complaints to Her Majesty's Customs were replied to within 10 working days.
