HC Deb 01 February 1994 vol 236 cc677-8W
Mr. Pickthall

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he has taken to examine the circumstances surrounding the death of Rose McCormack and her baby in Grangemouth.

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

My noble and learned Friend the Lord Advocate is fully aware of the circumstances of these tragic deaths, since their circumstances were reported by the police to the procurator fiscal at Falkirk, who in the normal way examined in detail what had occurred.
