To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will give figures for traffic flows on the M40 between junctions 4 and 5 during October 1993.

§ Mr. Key
The average daily flows over the month of October 1993 were

39,310 vehicles Eastbound.

38,977 vehicles Westbound.
Flows on weekdays are generally higher than those at weekends.
