Mr. Donohoe

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list the duration of the trips, referred to in his answer of 1 November,Official Report, column 1027, which were undertaken by Ministers in his Department and on which they were accompanied by their spouses and paid for at public expense.

The information is as follows:

  1. (i) Mr. and Mrs. Tim Smith visited Dublin on 5 February 1994;
  2. (ii) Lady Mayhew and I visited Canada and the USA between 5 and 15 April 1994;
  3. (iii) Lady Mayhew and I visited Italy on 14–15 May 1994.
