To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) on what basis the decision was reached to take no further action in respect of the complaint investigated by the RUC that there had been an attempt to pervert the course of justice by a member of the public who approached the family of a victim of Brendan Smyth;

(2) who took the decision to take no further action in respect of the complaint investigated by the RUC that there had been an attempt to pervert the course of justice by a member of the public who approached the family of a victim of Brendan Smyth.
