§ Mr. SoamesThe review by Sir Peter Cazalet of representational entertainment in the armed forces, which is examining the requirement for senior officers to entertain and the means by which the entertainment should be carried out, will in particular consider whether there are alternative and more cost-effective means than the use of official service residences and other service married quarters, and, in the light of that, whether any properties can be disposed of. I shall report to the House in due course on the outcome of this work.
