§ Mr. DenhamTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what estimate he has made of the total annual savings accruing to his Department in each of the next five years from the proposed changes to the availability of income support for mortgage interest payments; and what assumptions he has made in making those calculations with regard to the number of people who will not be eligible under the new rules for such payments and the average level of income support no longer payable.
