HC Deb 13 December 1994 vol 251 c604W
Mr. Win Griffiths

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many children received hospital tuition in each of the last three years, if he will list(a) the hospitals where it was provided and (b) the amount of time provided on average along with the greatest and least time provided for children in each hospital.

Mr. Richards

Information on the education of children in hospital classes is not held centrally. There is presently one hospital school in Wales, the Harvey Jones adolescent unit, maintained by South Glamorgan local education authority. There are currently 13 children between the ages of 11 and 16 in the unit.
