§ Mr. Charles WardleMy right hon. and learned Friend the Home Secretary and I, with other ministerial colleagues in the Home Office, regularly meet members of neighbourhood watch schemes during our frequent visits to rural areas. In addition, my right hon. and learned Friend will be attending the first national rural crime prevention conference on 13 June and the national neighbourhood watch conference planned for 5 November, both of which will provide an opportunity for him to meet and consider the views of neighbourhood watch members from all parts of the country.
