HL Deb 13 April 1994 vol 553 c93WA
The Countess of Mar

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Which universities, polytechnics and hospitals have received grants for undertaking research into the biochemistry, pharmacology or toxicology of organophosphorus compounds and their antidotes since 1970.

The Minister of State, Department for Education (Baroness Blatch)

A list of universities, polytechnics and hospitals which have received government funded grants since the mid-1980s is attached. To obtain information back to 1970 would incur disproportionate costs. Information is not held centrally for non-government funded grants. In accordance with their previously stated policy, no information on grants given to universities and other institutes of higher education is available from the Ministry of Defence.
