§ Sir George YoungMinisters and officials have had a number of discussions with the Council of Mortgage Lenders about the difficulties faced by some leaseholders of local authority dwellings. We are currently consulting them and other relevant organisations about the possible revision of the standard mortgage indemnity agreement used by local authorities.
