§ Mr. NorrisDifferent legislation governs the provision of bus services in London from that in the rest of the country.
Outside London, the rules for publication of information about bus route contracts are laid down by the Transport Act 1985. Inside London, it is London Transport which is responsible for deciding whether to publish the terms of commercial contracts for the provision of tendered bus services.
