Mr. Blunkett

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what was the percentage of ambulances in each service in Wales that responded within(a) eight minutes and (b) 14 to 20 minutes to emergency calls in (i) 1992–93 and (ii) the first half of 1993–94.

The whole-time equivalent number of ambulance staff in post at 30 September each year was as follows:
