To ask the Attorney-General what is the latest position regarding attempts to secure the return of Mr. Asil Nadir.

The Attorney-General

Asil Nadir remains in northern Cyprus whose administration is not recognised by the United Kingdom and with which we do not have any extradition arrangements. There is a warrant for his arrest should he return to the United Kingdom. Interpol have been notified of the warrant.
