To ask the Secretary of State for Health what has been the cost to the NHS of maintaining the Dreadnought seamen's hospital in Greenwich for each year since 1986.

There are legal constraints on the use of the Dreadnought seamen's hospital site in Greenwich, for which South East Thames regional health authority have responsibility. The hon. Member may wish to contact Mr. Peter Barker, chairman of the South East Thames regional health authority for details.
