HC Deb 30 November 1993 vol 233 cc452-3W
Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many people aged(a) 16 or 17 years and (b) 18 to 24 years living in the Don Valley constituency were unemployed according to the 1991 census; what this was as a percentage of each age group; and how this compares with the 1981 census.

Mr. Sackville

The available information is shown in the table. Statistics for age groups 16 to 17 and 18 to 24 could be produced only at disproportionate cost for 1981 and, at this stage, for 1991. Final 1991 census statistics for parliamentary constituencies will be available early in 1994.
