§ Mr. Llew SmithTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he received the report commissioned by his Department from WRC Consultants on degradation of chemicals; how many copies of the report have been printed; to whom it has been circulated; and what response he has made to its recommendations.
§ Mr. YeoThe report was received in the Department of the Environment on 1 November 1993. In all, 18 copies of the report have been printed, 13 of which have been placed in the Libraries of the House. A copy is also available in the Department's library for public reference. The remaining copies were circulated to staff within the Department who will use the results in the assessment of chemicals. Further copies can be made available on request.
