§ Mr. BaldryThe table lists the number of such cases from January 1989 to the end of September 1993. It gives full details of the cases in the period July to September 1993, summary figures for the year to date, and the cumulative total from 1989.

The table shows that in the period January to September 1993, the Secretary of State served 17 notices and 9 directions relating to anti-competitive tendering of council 207W services; and 80 notices and nine directions relating to the financial failure by local authorities' direct service organisations to achieve the required financial objectives.
