(2) if road planning conferences along the lines of that planned for Hereford in December are planned to discuss all his Department's major new road proposals.
§ Mr. KeyThe two conferences I have announced are trials of an innovative approach to trunk road planning. If they achieve their objective of establishing local consensus 523W on the right way forward with road proposals I plan to use them more widely. It is too early to set definitive selection criteria.
