§ Mr. FreemanThe Government's decisions on the channel tunnel rail link will take account of the options for Thameslink. Any simultaneous announcement about the latter would depend upon its relationship to the London terminal chosen for the rail link.
§ Mr. SpearingTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will place in the Library copies of the environmental impact assessments presented to him by applicants for development of intermediate stations on the proposed channel fast link railway.
§ Mr. FreemanUnion Railways' specialist consultants carried out environmental appraisals of the various intermediate station options. These formed part of Union Railways' recent report and will be published when the Government's decisions are announced.
