§ Mr. Douglas HoggMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs visited Syria on 22 to 24 October. He met President Assad and Foreign Minister Shara'a. He emphasised the importance we attach to early progress on the Syria track, and momentum more generally in the peace process.
