HL Deb 03 November 1993 vol 549 c128WA
Earl Russell

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the director and staff of the Child Support Agency receive performance-related pay, and if so, what performance indicators are employed in its calculation.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Social Security (Viscount Astor)

The Child Support Agency chief executive's entitlement to performance bonus is largely based on the achievement of performance targets relating to the work of the new agency. The key targets are published in the agency's business plan (a copy of which is in the Library). The rest of the agency's staff are eligible under the normal Civil Service pay schemes to receive performance pay based on an annual performance review.
