§ 20. Mr. IllsleyTo ask the Secretary of State for Education if he will alter the regulations relating to the publication of examination results league tables to allow the inclusion of results of children who take examinations early.
§ Mr. Robin SquireThe results of pupils who took GCSE examinations earlier than usual will be included in this year's secondary school performance tables, provided that the pupils concerned were in the relevant age cohort and attending secondary schools in January 1993. The results of pupils who took GEC A-levels or AS examinations one year earlier than usual will also be included, in both the secondary school and the 16 to 18 performance tables.
