To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many people were participating in(a) employment training, (b) employment action, (c) the enterprise allowance scheme and (d) youth training in each region and for Great Britain as a whole in each month since December 1991; and if she will make a statement.

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what was the number of employment training participants in March 1990 and at the latest available date.

In March 1990 there were 210,000 people on employment training in Great Britain and 135,000 in March 1993.
